ME: Mostly just writing. I also went to a girlfriends house for dinner. How about you?
HIM: Finance Committee last night. Jury duty today. I have an apartment getting ready for occupancy, and was shampooing carpet yesterday over there. I did see you come on MSN once yesterday, but it always seems if I send an IM immediately, you are always off line by the time I can send it. Hope you'll initiate.

ME: I never go to MSN unless I am meeting someone. Everytime I reboot, the MSN program pops up and it looks like I'm there but I'm not. So, you'd have to set up a time to chat. Well, it's late and I have to go to bed, see ya later.

HIM: I am home a lot. I have to work on my apartment that is for rent today; I'm a bit frustrated by not getting any responses on it. I'd be delighted for you to just initiate something some time, and if I'm there,I'll respond. That way it can likely be at your convenience.

ME: OK, I will do that. Today for some reason I am exhuasted so I'll have to get back to you some other time, Im gonna go take a nap to get over this boredom/exhuastion.

HIM: I wondered where you had been. I'm in and out today, here some tomorrow, but have meetings both nights. I'm leaving early Friday morning to spend the weekend at my condominium in northern Michigan; won't be back until later on Sunday.

HIM: I'm headed to Petoskey this weekend.....can IM on Thursday some if you are on line.... I have a meeting Thursday night...

HIM: Meg, I didn't have internet connection for about 18 hours and am just now back to the internet. It's 4 p.m., I'm here for about an hour, have a meeting tonight, back on line for a bit tonight, leaving early in the morning for my condo and I won't have internet up there. Back Sunday night after that. I'm dialing up the MSN messenger now.

HIM: I saw you come on line about 3 o'clock and tried immediately to send a couple of IM's, but no response from you.I hope you'll send me some more pictures some time. Yes, I'd like to talk, although for two days, it will be more difficult because I'm on laptop and dial-up only, so I don't keep the messenger on.Sorry, but I simply cannot "schedule" a time for instant messaging. When I'm home, the IM is on all the time.

Is Steve getting ansty waiting for Meg to chat with him? Will Meg finally come to meet Mr. Millionaire and help him with his "issues"? Will Steve say something offensive to Meg who is trying her best to blow this guy off? Does he EVER get the hint?
