Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

You aren't going to believe this...

...I called the YWCA to see about doing Community Service and they informed me that it would cost $30 to pick up the trash in their yard. I was stunned. I would have to become a member of the YWCA to do my Communtiy Service there and if I did, as a Community Service person, I would have to stay away from the decent members. Alrighty then.

So, this is the count, it's just a bit over $200 a month to Cobb County, just a bit over $100 a month to Bartow County, $40 a week for group counseling for alcoholism (and I don't even drink) and $30 to pick up trash. The trash picking up fee is a one time thing, I don't have to pay every time I go. Thank the Lord for small favors.

If you're keeping track, that's close to $500 dollars a month and I don't have a license to drive to a job to earn the money to pay the nice people who would just as soon lock me up. You know, jail is starting to look pretty damn good right about now. At least it's free.

Oh well, I suppose it could be worse. I won't ask how, I don't want to know. On my worse days, I wonder why I was spared from the cancer. It takes so many decent people who actually HAVE a life.

Ah...what the heck, like I said, this is so ridiculous that it's sort of funny. I'm supposed to call my friend Anne to talk to her about paying bills and how to organize them but right now, this is all a bit daunting so I think I'm just going to go stare at a wall for a while first. Then, I'll call Anne and ask her how to organize my bills. I've already gotten them all in one place and that DOES make it easier to toss them in the trash.

My daughter has offerred to help me some more but how can you take so much from your kid? I can't do it, that would just give some insane people more ammunition to throw at her. But, I sure am glad that I had her...she's turned out to be the best investment that I've ever made.

OK, wall staring time.

See ya,

Meg
