Hello!!!
I just spoke with the reporter. She said that she had to put the story on the back burner for a couple of days so that she could work the story about the Atlanta guy who shot the people in court. She had to go out of town as well. She said it would be out within one to two weeks, there’s a chance it will be in Thursday’s paper but with she isn’t sure. I just wanted to let you know that, some people have been emailing me to ask about it. Thank God that nut was caught! Well, of course he was going to get caught, it was just a matter of when.
What makes people think that they can get away with these things? Crooks can be like lovers, they think they are special. A crook believes that he can get away with a crime and lovers think that they are the ones who will beat the odds. From the numbers you hear on TV, one out of two couples get divorced. As bad as those odds are, they are worse for crooks. Haven’t there been enough stories on TV about idiots who try to hire undercover police to commit murder for hire? When you watch the tapes of the murder solicitors, they always appear to be very cocky and sure of themselves. What makes them think that the character that they asked in the first place wouldn’t go to the cops? I guess if you wanted to hire someone like that, you would go to someone you think is a crooked person. Now, crooked people usually have charges pending and they would just LOVE to go to the cops to work out a deal. DUH!
My Dad took a long time getting here last week because his friend became ill on the way down here. It’s a long story but I ended up with her two cats. Add them to my cat, McFly, and my dog and my fish and I have quite a menagerie. My dog wants to play with the cats but I can’t let him because he could accidentally swallow them. I just had to chase that nut all over the house to get him into his crate. When I first got him, he could easily escape me by hiding under the bed. Now when he tries to run under the bed, he just smacks his stupid head. He can still get under the coffee table but that won’t work for long, he is almost big enough to topple it over, soon he will start smacking his head on that, too. That’s one good thing about a big dog, they have fewer hiding places.
The cats are no problem at all, they are small enough to hide and most of the time, that’s exactly what they are doing. The only thing I don’t like about cats is that some walk on the tables and counters. My cat knows better, these other two haven’t learned that yet. I think one of them killed one of my fish. I can’t be sure but all of the circumstantial evidence points to her. I found one of my fish (one that I have had for over 5 years) under the aquarium all dehydrated. Either the cat got him or he committed hari kari. I spotted that cat on the aquarium twice. It’s my fault for not covering the aquarium soon enough.
Now I am left with one pretty fish and Moby Dick. Doesn't anyone out there want a large algae eater? You could just come and take it. PetSmart has run all of the small places out of business and they don’t take in fish. The last place that did closed down last year so I am left with a huge fish that scares me.
I still feel badly so I am going to go and rest some more. I think that my calcium level is going back up...I am starting to feel as rotten as I did last spring. If I am right, that could mean that the tumor on my parathyroid gland is there again so I hope I just have the flu or something stupid like that. I am going to take my pain medicine and see if that helps at all. In the ‘70’s, I would have use an herbal type of drug but as a law abiding adult, all I have is prescription meds. I WON’T go to the hospital unless I find a lap top computer on my doorstep. If I do end up going, I will let you know.
See ya soon.
Meg

Meg,
I promise you have nothing to worry about. Would it make you feel any better if I told you that you know me? I am just playing with you...Margaret.
