Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

You are not going to believe this...

...after I told the H & R Block guy that I wouldn't sign a fraudulant tax return AND after I told him that my W-2 form wasn't included in that return AND that we had no right to claim my grown son who lives with his father in another state, THEY "ACCIDENTALLY" PUSHED A BUTTON AND FILED THAT RETURN WITH THE IRS!!!!!! And the wording in the separation agreement makes it look awfully suspicious...all of the tax refund that never existed (tax refunds due you are assets in a divorce, he didn't claim this refund) goes directly to Vex. And, the "tax burden" that he was saving me from by filing jointly with him never existed...for real never existed.

So, what do I do? File my own return? Call the IRS? I have a call into the attorney. The tax dude called me back and said, "Good news! We could still ammend the return!" What?!? I don't want any part of a less than truthful tax return that I NEVER SIGNED IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!

So, I went to get a copy of this fictional tax return and it said that it had my SIGNATURE ON FILE!!!! It may have from last year, but I doubt that you can pre-sign a tax return by one year. So, basically, H&R Block has filed a tax return with my name on it that I TOLD them was NOT ACCURATE and they STILL filed it WITHOUT my signature!!!! So, they have made it impossible for me to file my taxes and they have cost me my refund and they have involved me in a less than honest tax return without my knowledge!

Irritated at this point,

Meg

Meg,
By filing taxes without your approval, Vex has screwed himself. It's considered identity theft in 50 states. Here is what the IRS has to say: http://www.irs.gov/individuals/article/0,,id=136324,00.html
