Thank you so much for the advice but I don't know where the saturation thing is. These pictures are all in the same program, I don't know why one was blue and one wasn't. I know if I try to adjust anything, they WILL be blue. I posted a picture of Vex once that I had taken in the dark and had to straighten it to be able to see anything and he was blue. But I didn't do anything to these. I'm stumped.
When you have the webcam open, click on 'file' in the upper left hand corner. You should see a list that includes preferences. After clicking that there should be something about 'advanced'. Play with the settings from there. (I.E., brightness, saturation, hue, etc) If you screw it up, just click 'default' (or 'change settings to default') and it will return to original settings.
Or don't do a thing, up to you. Just might be more clear in black and white, or with a fine tuning.
You can brighten pics already taken with photoshop or photoimpression. (Right click image from stored file and choose 'open with'. From there you should be able to brighten with edits. Fool around, you can't break anything.
Thank you! I have printed out your comment and I'm going to play around with the camera to see what I can do with it. BUT...never assume that I can't break ANYTHING! Given time and enough effort, I WILL find a way!

Try it with black and white by reducing the 'saturation' in camera preferences.
