For absolutely no reason whatsoever...
...I decided to cook myself dinner today. Not the usual dinner that I eat, no Popsicles, no yogurt and berries, not even Ramen Noodles. Not quite filet or some gourmet meal that doggybloggy creates to actually make people all around the world salivate with his lovely meals that he shows on his blog...but it will fill me up. And, since I went to all the trouble to cube these potatoes and mix them in a cream and cheese sauce, I though I'd show it to you. Remember there's only one of me so I made a small casserole:
Now, I know that meat loaf is a dumb food to take a picture of, but I did make it so here it is:
The red areas aren't raw meat, they're fresh tomatoes that I chopped up with the onions to mix in the loaf-O-meat.
Anyone who knows me knows that I can't eat immediately after I finish cooking. I don't know why, I'm just not hungry after cooking and tasting the food as I decide what ingredients I need to use next.
I probably have more than enough for me, maybe even enough for 3 people if I served it with some rolls and a salad. But, since it's just me, I think I'll open a can of peas and call it a meal.
Now I wish that I would have made onion rings. I didn't realize that I had a big onion in the fresh veggies that my friend brought over this past weekend. If I had seen it, I would have made the onion rings because they are WONDERFUL when they're home made.
Oh well, maybe tomorrow.
One day I'll make something just as pretty as Doggie Bloggie's stuff!

There is no explaining it but meatloaf is one of my favorite meals. I like it as much as I like a good steak and yours looks delicious, damn now I am hungry and it is 10:30 at night and too late to eat.
Dude,
I don't understand it either but I love a big ol' loaf-o-meat myself. This one was good, those tomatoes added a nice flavor.
I ate dinner earlier in the evening, maybe 7 or so. But then, at 10:30 I got up and ate a bowl of Rice Krispies. Since when is 10:30 too late to eat? I must be doing it wrong.
:)
PS Then, at about 1 AM, I woke up and ate a big bowl of watermelon. I guess I should eat again now, it's been 6 hours!
