Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

Good morning!

While I was in the hoosegow, I kept trying to find the silver lining in that awful situation. I knew that I wasn't sitting there for no good reason at all. I've been reading some of the emails that had piled up while I was away and between them and the favors that other buddies of mine have done for me (You know who you are!), I have found the silver lining in that cloud.

Here's a sampling of some of those emails:

Meg –I called the State court to try and pay your fines, and here's what I learned:You license was ordered suspended on 1/26The notice wasn't issued until 2/3 by Judge Campbell. There are no bench warrants for either traffic violation, just a failure to appear which carries a $65 fee (and ya gotta go to court). The lady dug around for me, and doesn't see any other state cases with your name on them

How sad can a person be when they have friends like this?

I'm not sure what happened but they took the last couple of posts you had on here off. I was going to call one of the numbers you had last post, and now it's gone
God Bless you Meg i hope everything improves for you. Please let me know i'm worried for you...

I feel awful that I worried anyone but grateful that I even HAVE people who would worry. By the way, my daughter (who retained the attorney for me) panicked and took down the posts that this lady is referring to. But, the originals will soon be put back up there, with some names changed to assure that I honor my promise to the judge who specifically said that he would not take away my First Ammendment right of free speech.

How much will it cost to get you out of the Hoosgow?...Be very careful of those female inmates, you just might become very popular all of a sudden you with blond hair could become the "Queen of Shabazz" in da joint. You do have all the luck, don't you?

Oh yeah, my luck is startling. What a pal this man is and has been!

Meg, Please let me know if there is anything, anything at all, that I can do for you in this horrible time...if it would help, I can try to pay your bail...

Well, now of course, I'm out but I'm as broke as I've ever been. You wouldn't consider paying my electric bill, would you? LOLOLOL...I have to get extremely creative in my financial matters and FAST! I told Miss McCoy that I needed to get out of jail so that I didn't loose my home. She wanted to keep me there long enough to ensure that I would, indeed, lose the little that I had left. Thank God that she can't take away these friends!

Well, today I have to go meet my Bartow County probation officer. They seemed quite kind the other day. I hope that they have that same attitude today! I have to be there (45 miles away) at 11 and it's after 10 so I better run!

See ya later!

Meg
