Before I leave...
...I have to say that the cops annoy the heck out of me. I just saw on the news where an FBI guy was killed. The cops always say that if we're robbed, we should just give over the cash and not risk our life over something that can be replaced...like money. If they took their own advice, they wouldn't be shooting in the first place. With all the surveillance cameras, the robbers can't get far, let them go and wait until you catch them. I don't understand why they always have to use deadly force against people who aren't using it themselves. I also think it's stupid to chase a car just because it's running away. But the cops seem to have some misplaced sense of pride that won't let them give up on a car chase until someone gets hurt.
I know it sounds stupid, but Archie Bunker wasn't so far off when he said that he could stop sky-jackers in a minute by just arming all the passengers. "Pass out the pistols when they get on the plane, and pick them up when they get off." If we all had guns, who would rob a bank? If we were all armed, we wouldn't need cops.

agreed 110% on the last paragraph! LOL ;)
I dunno- in the US it doesn't seem to help. Unethical folks, like the OW's, don't have conscience's so don't care if others have guns. Look at the gangs- they fight each other all of the time. I think it just makes society overall toughened and more impervious to violence in general which leads to higher tolerance which leads to more violence!

Well, I was half assed kidding. But, I don't understand what you mean about the beginning of the blog...mine? what's happening?
I am running so late today because FedEx delivers between 8 and 3 so I have to sit here like a jack ass waiting for the yahoo driver.
