aw... He's so cute. He looks identical to the cat my stbx husband and I bought back in late December of 1999. We named him Miles - short for "Milennium". Unfortunately, when my husband moved out, he came back on that Saturday - Gestapo style, to confiscate the cat. He had two auxiliary coppers with him - as if I was actually going to resist. It was one of the worse days of my life. Anyway, no point in my remembering painful moments....look at Miles' pic here
I can't believe that the cops let him take the cat. Did you try to keep it? I know the cat wasn't at the top of your mind right then...it's a special moment when your marriage is over, isn't it?
WOW!!! That cat DOES look exactly like yours. You guys should go take a look at her cat...if you can. Oh yeah, most of you can't. I'll post it for you guys.
okay first of all, they weren't real cops - they were auxiliaries - friends of my husband's who volunteered at the PD (along with him). So he used them to his advantage. I felt bad because I was being treated like a criminal.
I didn't try to keep the cat because at the moment, (just like you mentioned) the cat wasn't on my mind.
BUT, on that Saturday morning when my husband bursted inside the apartment GESTAPO STYLE with those two coppers and snatched the cat away, when he left - I just can't explain to you what I felt.... It was extremely painful - after he left, I went out and had a coffee, but when I came back I cried and cried and cried and cried and cried.... I still have the cat's toys. Everything just came crashing down...
Anyway, I'm surprised I haven't told you - don't I tell you everything? lol
Cool. I was having a rough time trying to figure out how to put that picture below the kitties' pictures. It kept wanting to be at the top. Grrrwwwerrrrr.
Now, I have a muscle spasm in my shoulders and I have to go lie down with the kids and watch a movie. I'll see ya soon!
Oh Solaris, that's rotten. I'm sorry that happened. That is such a violation, so mean spirited.
Meg, are you still having that problem? The Blogger editor always inserts it on top. If you recognize HTML, you can go into HTML edit tab, select the block for the picture and cut & paste it where you want it, then return to Compose mode and neaten things up.

OK then, I'll try that next time. The other computer let me drag the pictures how but this one won't.
