Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

I never heard of a pepper...

...called a chipotle pepper until a couple of years ago and now I keep seeing them all over the place. I thought that maybe it was a new pepper so I looked it up in my old cookbook and they had them back in the 50's. I guess the chipotle pepper just didn't catch on until recently.

Now, I see them all over the place and they even have a restaurant here called Chipotle's. I wonder why the stupid peper never caught on and what happened to make them so popular now?

I'm not sure exactly what a chipotle pepper is but apparently, they are very good peppers. What did we do before them? I guess we just ate the jalepeno peppers and left it at that.

Did you ever notice how after you hear a new word, you keep hearing it over and over again? Well, the stupid chipotle pepper is like that. I never heard of it until about 3 years ago and now I hear about them all the time. The chipotle pepper is now the most famous pepper of them all. How we ever got by with those plain old jalepeno's is beyond me.

I'm going to grow some peppers out in my backyard today. Not chipotle, just some plain old bell peppers.

I was looking at the poll questions and I saw that most men are actually pretty normal. They don't seem to think less of women that do put out on a first date although most women do seem to be offended by the guys who try. It makes me feel good because I seem to fall itno the norm of the women and the men, for the most part, don't necessarily think ill of women who do what the men are trying to get them to do. That makes me think that most of them are really basically decent. Of course, not all men fall into the normal category any more than women do.

I had a conversation with a friend of mine about men the other day. She was telling me how she had a date with a guy who didn't hold her past against her. That's nice. I told her that she was lucky because judgemental men are some hideous men to be around.

My other ex would watch a movie and if they had a woman who was dressed scantily and was raped, he would say that she deserved it because of how she was dressed. That's pretty scary, isn't it?

The Duke LAX team that's been accused of raped is going to have some serious problems soon. I saw the head of the Black Panther's on TV the other day and he said that they would be a "presence" on the Duke campus. This whole thing is going to cause a lot of trouble in the near future. Can you imagine what the trial is going to be like?

What a shame that they are making this a race issue. Women of all colors get raped and we shouldn't read anything else into the rape. Those men, if they are guilty, certainly would have done the same thing no matter what color the women had been. The fact that the second woman called a PR firm to find out how she could "spin this to my advantage" is pretty damn sad. She, along with the prosecutor, are trying to spin this situation to their own advantage and that's pathetic. Lives are being destroyed and they want to see what they can gain from it.

There is so much about that case that is scary. The fact that they didn't have the "victim" choose the men from a line-up with controls is really bad. I don't see how these men can be prosecuted fairly at this point. If the woman was raped, these guys will get away with it and if she wasn't, they will have their lives destroyed for nothing. They haven't been found guilty of anything yet but they have still been kicked out of school.

There also isn't any evidence of anything racial yet there are a bunch of people who are trying to get something out of this situation. People are like piranhas when it comes to race nowadays. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton will be there sooner or later to find out what they can make out of this case. Al Sharpton didn't learn a thing from the Tawana Bradley case, did he? I wonder how long it will be before someone remembers that woman.

It would be nice to see some people speak about this situation without racial bias but there isn't a soul around with either the decency or the courage to do so. That's pretty sad for women everywhere. I'm amazed that there haven't been any women's groups around that have spoken up. I saw that nut lady who represents women victims the other day, Gloria Allred, and she was obviously trying to get the victim in the Duke case to call her for representation. That's just so pathetic. I'll be curious to see if it works for her. If it does, look for Allred to be represnting the victim soon.

See ya,

Meg
