Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

I THINK I finally got some good karma today! I went on that date, had a great time and chatted the entire time, had a lovely meal at my favorite Marietta restaurant...with some of their famous dessert that my date said that I "should order it to eat later." What a nice guy...I jumped at the opportunity to have a wonderful piece of white chocolate raspberry cake from the best restaurant bakery this side of the Pecos.

When we got back to my house, I didn't think it was appropriate to invite him into the house on a first date so I invited him to sit and chat on my front porch chairs and we did.

Payton watched us from inside for a while before I just brought him out to meet my date and they got along just swimmingly.

The guy owns a HVAC business and being the coy little wench that I am, I mentioned that in of the 11 years that I've lived in this house, I've never crawled under the house and that's where the filter to the furnace is. That sucker hasn't been changed for God knows how long.

I've had men who could have changed it for me right here in my kitchen but I never had the filter at the same time. I don't know what size it is so I can't even buy one to sit around waiting for some guy to come along and take care of that for me.

And since this guy does know so much about shit like that, perhaps he will even suck all the crap out of my ducts!

As he was leaving he said that he would stop by one night this week and change out my filter. I told him that I would make him dinner if he did. I can cook something really, really nice. Ooh, I could even bake a cake!

Well hot damn...if I play my cards right, I'll have my ducts taken care of by next weekend.

But seriously, I had a really, really nice time. This guy is as sweet and gentlemanly as they come. He didn't try to force himself on me and he made me feel totally comfortable all evening.

I told him to give me 24 hours notice before he comes over (he's bringing HIS boxer with him to meet Payton. After meeting Payton, he mentioned how much like his dog Payton was.) so that I can have a nice dinner prepared when he gets here. That should be very nice.

Well, my shoulder is starting to hurt from typing so I'm gonna go put my shoulder to bed.

Wherever you are, good morning, good night and good afternoon!
