Hi. I'm trying to think of another description to put here. Any ideas? I'll try again at 420.

Ummm, it makes no sense to me

"...Stanczak’s death is the first killing of a Western hostage in this terrorist country of Islamic Pakistan since U.S. journalist Daniel Pearl was beheaded in 2002. Chinese technicians working on different projects were targeted many times in this terrorist country.

John Solecki, the American U.N. official, was abducted on Feb. 2 in Quetta in southwestern Pakistan as he traveled to work at the offices of the U.N. refugee agency there. His driver was shot to death..."

What am I missing? Don't drivers count as hostages? Do they realize this?

His driver was probably a native - and therefore NOT a western hostage. Its all in the details.

Remember how Obama said that he wasn’t going to take your guns? Well, it seems that his minions and allies in the anti-gun world have no problem with taking your ammo!

The 2008 Legislative session has begun, and the Ammunition Accountability Act is being introduced across the country. Below is a summary of legislation that has been introduced throughout the United States. To view the bills’ status, click on the links to the individual bills. http://ammunitionaccountability.org:80/Legislation.htm

States where legislation has already been introduced are Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi,
Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina,
Tennessee, and Washington.

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacture, a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Under legislation called the Ammunition Accountability Act, no one will be able to sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

If passed, the bill would require that any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011, including hand-loaded ammunition. There would also be a charge a .05 cent tax on every round so every box of ammo you buy would increase at least $2.50 or more.

You knew that was coming. This is NOT a good thing. Ammunition needs to be BLOWN UP? By whom? I wouldn't want to blow up all of my bullets and I wouldn't want my kids around people who did. Time to go all Terminator 2.

" You can keep your rights to bare arms........we just won't allow you to buy the bullets to shoot them." another one of our rights fades to dust....so sad.

I can't imagine that there are people like you and I who are stupid enough to have all of their firearms known to the government. I have no problem keeping a gun that no one knows about.

Oh, and the bullets!
