The ultimate measure of a man...

...is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
Martin Luther King. Jr.

Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become something great.
Mark Twain

Winning isn't everything. Wanting to win is.
Catfish Hunter.

Either you decide to stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out into the ocean.
Christopher Reeves

Success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It's what you do for others.
Danny Thomas

Only those who dare to fail greatly ever achieve greatly.
Robert F. Kennedy.

Experience is a very harsh teacher. It gives you what you need, knowledge, but just after you need it. But in that manner you learn, the awareness, becomes inate in a manner which simple granting of the knowledge without trial doesn't award.
