Okay, where was I...
Oh yes, your pictures. I like this one best, and not just because I can see your chest. It's because... you look more relaxed. You don't look like you just spent 5 hours in front of a mirror working on your eyes. That's it. You look more at ease. you don't look like you'll be afraid to do something exciting (or dirty or perverted) because it will mess up your make-up.
You women are not getting made up to turn on men. Most of you could give a rat's ass about what we men think. No, you are getting made up to keep up with and compete against other women. Everyone looks at the woman. Especially other women. Women are the most judgemental creatures out there, especially in regards to each other. A stunning woman walks into the room, dressed in such a way that she shows off what she's got and men stare with their jaws open and drool coming out. Women will stare, narrow their eyes and the claws come out.
My wife will wear make-up when she leaves the house if she's going to be around other women. How long she spends varies depending on the level of attractiveness of the other women. You do have a point about the sisterhood getting together and agreeing to "level the playing field." Of course, that phrase alone is indicative of why it will never happen. It implies a competition of some sort. And it isn't a competition for the attentions of men. I was born in the morning, but not yesterday morning!
Okay, I've said enough. Thank you for allowing me to spout off on your lovely blog.
LOLOL, I think you for your comment. But I absolutely wear make up for men. If I am going to the grocery store, I don't put it on. If I am going where I know there are men, I do. I've heard that about women and I'm sure it's true to some extent...but I am not responding to what the how the women react to my appearance...they treat me the same one way or another. It is the MEn who respond differently..I assure you. I believe you when you say that you prefer this picture...but believe me, men treat men differently if I look like that as opposed to if I'm wearing make up...ladies...can I get some support here?
OMG! I can assure you that if my man told me to nix the make up, I would do it in a heart beat. Of course, there might be some professional exception...but I would happily lose my Caboodle full of make up for a man. I promise. I would got out on a date au naturale in a heartbeat if the guy asked me to...try me.
