THIS IS NOT A RERUN

Nope...it's an entirely new problem. I've had another stroke. I say "entirely new" because the other strokes were bleeders, this time I threw a blood clot into my brain. The only way left to stroke out is to have atherosclerosis so badly that a blood vessel clogs up.

On the 23rd or 24th I was making dinner when my hand started feeling oddly. I remember thinking, "This must be what it's like to have a stroke." So I did what any middle aged grandmother would do, I went on Facebook. I actually posted that I was having a stroke and the friends of mine who were online and who don't want me dead suggested that I get off of the computer and call 911.

My dad was showering so I figured I would let him finish that and then go to the hospital. Once they confirmed what my strokey arm and I already knew, I'd had a stroke. Naturally, that meant another stay at the lovely inpatient facility located right ON the water. I knew that I would be admitted so I wasn't in a huge hurry anyway. I wasn't really afraid, I was more intrigued than anything else. It's fascinating to be in the middle of a stroke. I wondered if that was the last time I'd be using my left thumb (you really, really need thumbs.)

This stroke was also different in that I remembered every bit of it. Usually, I'm performing some mundane household chore one minute and the next minute, I'm in 4 point restraints, surrounded by strange people who I have never seen.

This time I ended up at a relatively decent place. The nursing staff was quite good in spite of the fact that most of them were women. Even the docs appeared confidant,

More to follow.

Wow - what a great blog, I especially love the fact that you have the courage to 'out' your perpetrator.

My ex also did some lousy stuff, and happily I have much of it in (her) writing...someday I might post her own abusive tale, in her own words :)

It is good blog about divorce

Divorce is the final termination of a marital union, canceling the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage and dissolving the bonds of matrimony between the parties. Divorce laws vary considerably around the world but in most countries it requires the sanction of a court or other authority in a legal process. The legal process for divorce may also involve issues of spousal support, child custody, child support, distribution of property and division of debt. Where monogamy is law, divorce allows each former partner to marry another; where polygyny is legal but polyandry is not, divorce allows the woman to marry another.
